Don't EVER EVER buy ANYTHING from Swan, especially sauce pans. Never experienced such a case of 'Ministry of Crap Design' -ism as these useless pieces of shit.

'Non-stick', because the non stick surfaces don't actually adhere to the metalwork they are supposed to stick to, so peal off and contaminate food. They are rusting quicker than a Maestro 1.3 HLE.

USELESS! MORE USELESS than LED washer jets and chrome windscreen wipers!

we have tefal hotspot ones which are dangerous as feck. The handle is heavier than two of the pans even with stuff in sometimes and if not seated on the hob correctly decide to fall over spilling hot foodstuffs onto your genitals

ahhh which reminds me..my expensive cooking pans are totally shite aswell, the handles get so hot you need a pair of welding gloves to use the things:rant::rant:

This thread had me totally baffled until I did a quick Google search on "sauce pans" and now at least I know what they are but still baffled as to why guys would be talking about them

Stuff all the Brand named stuff, just buy good quality Stainless Steel pans, you don't need all this non-stick/teflon crap, it's all pants. I've got a full set of these stainless steel ones that I've had for a good 7 or 8 years now, and they really do look as good as new! FACT!
