Keep umming and arring over fitting a set of JDM contoured mudflaps.

I know they look pretty good on dark coloured cars, but sometimes don't look too great on lighter coloured cars.

Here are some body coloured ones on a silver car. Now they are just the fronts. I'd be adding the plastic stone chip film over the top of the forward facing surfaces so as not to chip off the paint.

Then there's going down the stock route of fitting them unpainted....

Here they are on my 3rd Z in stock black, front and back, but not a great pic.

I Personally think they do nothing for the Z's lines and painted only helps to hide them. Surprised you like them.

They are a thick but soft rubber.

I'd personally prefer stock black, as I've seen them painted before and all chipped, doesn't look nice!

BTW, my rides section show mine fitted, of which three have now fell off and are laying in my bedroom wardrobe ;)

To be honest I don't think they can be successfully painted as they are too flexible?

Mine are fine and have been on for 5 years now.........................:D

when i had my old black 2+2 zed it came with the mudguards on... granted they kept everything very nice and tidy up there and did their job but i actually did think about removing them as they are ugly and the cars look much better without them.

If you are going for practicality and fancy the standard classic zed then i can see why you want them. however my second time round i have not got them and i agree... better without for looks

It was always my understanding that these weren't available from Nissan anymore. Can you get them after-market somewhere ?

Si, this is a very recent picture (two weeks ago) of Atlasts zed with them on,

Im trying to convince him to lend them to me for a while, so i can get some moulds made up.

Stu, I have some very good rear spats which are off the car at the moment, If you can guarantee that no damage will be done to them I will lend them to you or if you think some damage will happen I have two which are slightly misshapen you could use.

Im already on the case ;)

i pulled then suckers off first day i bought the zed BUT i wish i had something to stop the stone chips im getting from their location now :(

who was that guy who joleyp bought his red car off, he had a pearl white one for sale and im sure it had those on, im not keen, but then when have we ever agreed on body styling lol

i like them, as far as mud flaps are concerned i'd def put them on my zed if i could find them, they're nicely shaped to the body(only my opinion) but i do agree they'd need to be painted.....anyone got any for sale?:D

I had a set on my pearl white zed body coloured too. i'll see if i can find some pics for you laters

Got the front and rear flaps on mine in resprayed yellow. Look good, pics in my rides.

I've got some and TBH never really thought about them. Never considered taking them off or owt, but do want some plain skirts at some point so they will be coming off sooner or later.

I'm not too sure they're the right route for you tho Si, body coloured or not, your zed is very clean and smooth and i personally don't feel they will keep in tune with the theme of your zed. Just my opinion of course.

Cheers,

Isaac

They look sh1t unpainted, with out looks better. If i were you Si i wouldnt have them on your car mate.
