4 wheel studs?? the things the wheel nuts hold.

 

Had a squeak yesterday, took the centre plate off and 3 nuts fell out.

Thought id best check the other front, but really that shud be fine i was thinking. Anyone spot the missing part?

Slightly pissed off with the bloke who last took it off, probably just thought, **** it, cant be arsed to take everything off again and fix it. Plus now i need a new wheel nut too.

Yeah, as in its not there. Took the centre off and thats what i got.

Got plenty and only in Tamworth down the road from you, a word to all viewing this thread, broken studs ESPECIALLY rear ones is more common these days, once a UK only spec issue now seems to effecting Jap spec cars too, most likely the larger wheels been the culprit. Oddly front studs are FATTER and hence more robust so do not seem to have the same problem except where overtightening has occured.

I'll no doubt give you a ring tomorrow jeff, thanx. Why does it always breakdown on the hottest days.

I had a couple for mine from Zedworld, very reasonable no f*ckin about whereas the local Nissan dealer were not helpful at all.
