Hi everyone

Looking for a big favour from a member.

Got a missfire that comes and goes on my 300tt and error 21 (PTU).

Read through other threads and most suggest "borrowing" working parts from a running 300, ie coil packs ptu etc... to isolate the problem.

Willing to drive to your location.

Any takers ????

Well from the error code and description it's got to be a faulty PTU!

I'm a bit far away in Harrogate but you're welcome to try my PTU.

The early series 1 PTU was recalled and a series 2 item released that doesn't fail.

They always go wrong when the weather starts to warm up.

Cost about £360 from Nissan but you can get them for about £50 I think from traders on here.

Met with Mike, Not the best of starts to a fresh meeting, Reversed in his car, very embarrassing.

Changed the PTU, CAS, ECU with no change.

Did discover when it does drop onto 5 pots, its No. 4 thats off and no signel is getting to it.

We then ran out of ideas. The drive back home (64 miles) was much better than going, only lost a pot once and only for a few hundred yards.

But still have the missfire at 2000-2500rpm.
