Nice bits although the tierods look a bit undersize. The Zed is a heavy car and puts a lot of weight and pressure on the front suspension. Compare the size of the shaft on your new tierods with the size of the shaft on the old bushed type, if there is a difference, you experience a failure.

hi blueknight . it was me who said about the tie rods there have been a couple of cases on here in recent weeks who bought the ebay cheapies and had them fail in a dramatic way. the recommended rods are tein and powertrix rods which are tried and tested technology. why skimp on somthing thats gonna keep you alive eigh :)

gaz

buy powertrix but keep them and use them for something else, like erm..... maybe you could modify them to fit the rear traction rods somehow then have rear caster adjustment, the rears dont take as much stress as the fronts thats for sure.

Thanks all. so where do i get this ones from cos i need to do all of the suspension front and rear and is z centere a god place to buy things from many thanks andy

Unless your car is lowered and needs adjustable tierods I would go with the 3 piece Energy Suspension bush kit I got them from DTA in the traders section. Seems overkill otherwise.

Hi Andy,

I can help source the parts you're after. I (DTA-Motorsport UK) are the sole official reseller of Powertrix parts in the UK and we also supply all the Energy Suspension bushing kits. For suspension parts take a look at http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/susp.php - this is a company run by us as well.

Regards,

Dan
