Are front indicator bulbs not universal? Got some crystal clear ones but th orange bulbs don't fit. Looks like the too things on the side of the bulbs aren't directly opposite.

Do you means the pins. Some are offset, i.e. one low and one slightly higher which has 2 contacts on the bottom of the bulb, and the other type has the pins at 20 past 8 sortoff and only a single contact. The latter is the modern days version and found fitted to Citreon. Renault etc. the first ones are absolutely buggers to get hold of but I do know a source if your desperate. Let me know.

No the pins are in different places, there are 3 types, you can get them at most motor factors though, just got to look to make sure there the same.

Talking about the bulb pins

I'm replacing the whole outside unit mate for the crystal clear ones which means I will now need orange bulbs. When I got some they don't fit because of the position of the pins

Why do you need Orange ones? You could have Silvertec ones!! That way you won't see any Orange until they flash :cool:

I would say have a word with Danny, but he's having a few probs with his PC at the moment, but he will be able to sort you, even with the correct pin arrangement!

No same holder but were clear bulbs, but now has clear lenses so needs orange bulbs.
