17:00 Optional circuit briefing in minibusses

17:30 Open lane begins

20:00 Track time ends

Extras

Additional Driver £25

Good oportunity to really learn the handling of your car and it really is a lot of fun. Its not a race so you dont have to try prove yourself or go too mad.

Open pit lane means I can come on and off track however many times i wish, gives me time to fiddle with suspension etc.

I did this at Brands a few years ago in my first 300 ! I can tell you without a doubt it is the BEST way to really discover what these cars are all about !!

I booked the driver instruction too and honestly thought the guy was going to kill us ! In my car he was braking SOOOO late and yet the car did what he asked of it !! IIRC I managed about 100-110 before braking for the first corner.....and that corner is like falling off a cliff !! And then the compression that follows through the dip is amazing..........

Only bad bit of the day was when I broke the bolt on the bottom of the gearstick as I snatched fourth through the dip.......had to cruise back to the pits in thrid with a flapping gearstick......but they have a workshops there and the guy had a bolt that he gave me and use of all the tools I needed ! Top bloke !!

I remember sitting in the pits on several occassions after a few quick laps listening to my car ticking loudly and watching the heat rise of it.......BUT the best time I ever had in it !!!

I really cant wait :D :bow::bow:

Im going to see if i can muster a friend to come along with some of my tools a jack and my laptop for dumping video footage onto so i have more memory on my cam.

How did your tyres last up mark? My fronts wear more on the outsides around the track which suggests maybe setting a little more negative camber.

I had Yokohamas on at the time which were quite soft and they were RAGGED afterwards :)

They were like Blu-tac by the end - you could literally pinch the rubber off !

I'm not sure how many miles I took off them but a good few thousand !!

If I ever do it again I think it might be worth investing in some spare alloys and slicks or at least cut slicks that would get me there and home again - Surbiton is a reasonably short distance to make it drivable.

Hmmmm, ok how much total for me, my car, a mate a 2 helmets?

Very interested

119 for pit lane access

10 for passenger

20 for 2 helmets

£149 then just add a full tank of fuel or two.

its not a great deal of money. the thrill out weights the cost by miles :D

You can also go round with an instructor for £25 who will take your car to its limits and really show you how its done.
