I received a letter this morning from Alan Newberry at South Lanarkshire Council asking inviting us to attend this event. I have no idea why they sent it to me. Robert, i can forward you the letter if you want to sort this our or I'd be happy. I just thought since you're REO, i dont wanna be stepping on your toes.

 

If I Remember correctly, we were all set to go last year then the event was rained off.

 

The event is on Sunday 16th of August at Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton and runs from 11:00 to 16:00. The letter states that all cars must be on site by 10:30 at the latest and that anyone who cannot stay until 16:00 should not attend.

 

So what's the general feeling? Would there be enough interest from here to think about a stand?

Poor shrek has worked some magic and got another zed :D

My shortie goes to bristol on saturday to have the engine lifted out of it and prepared for fitting into Craig.Wrights / NismoDan's old TT Manual LWB. :D

Tam I already took the liberty of entering your car But!!!! and its a big but :( The show is off!, Ive had a call from the organisers today. Apparently it clashed with some other show so they pulled the plug. It a real shame because this has produced the most interest in an event in Scotland for ages.

We can still organise something for the day, I will look around for a suitable alternative.

Thats two years in a row that this show has been cancelled. Lets hope that they dont make a yearly thing of cancelling. :(

Seems its the Biggar show that has caused the upset!, but thats for vintage motors as far as I can tell, dont think ours quite qualify for that!
