i could understand an anti-drain being fitted if the filter was on a remote maybe!! but the location of it and the fact it sits upright cant be that important..every filter ive ever taken off always gets followed by an arm full of oil from delivery tube so it cant be draining away:confused:

That's what I thought too :nono:

Wondered if I had got the idea of anti drain wrong.

So what's the point? LOL

Just as an add on to this finally seen the Wix branded corner in a local motor-factors the other day hardly go in this one!. I did however search for a wix filter on my last change with no joy so ended up using a stock one, anyway.... enquired on z32 Wix oil filter , only to find they keep it in stock , and it's only £3.80!! :hyper:

I'll be honest out of most I’ve seen and read up on the Wix filter seems to perform very well in tests and is the closest to the oem (original) spec item so i'm gonna grab a fair few lol

I will reveal the retailer if asked lol
