My light is on and steering heavier. Looked at the oil level in the power steering and is ok, if not a little high!

Steering wheel is standard, But when car is first started there is no light and system seems fine. Its only when driving for about 5 minutes the light comes on and steering feels heavy. Im thinking of draining the power steering reservoir and getting the right level in a bit.

 

Any advice guys

Is your steering wheel dead straight when your going straight ?

Do you have stock steering wheel ?

Does your speedo continue to work correctly ?

Do you have KPH>MPH convertor ?

Hello mate just changed the oil and all seems ok. Im thinking electrical if it plays up again. In another thread i posted about the interior light in the boot. Disconnected it again to see if that sorts out the problem also! Dont know if the light has a related electrical problem.

Problem sorted, i changed the oil and all is good.
