I have them. Didn't really notice any difference in terms of driver feel. Little more in the way of TX noise at low speed, but nothing really noticeable.

 

They won't stop the leaking but they lock them, so they will seep less, so you'll have zero play. It's whether they have play in them that dictates as to whether they fail or not.

 

A lot of MOT testers don't know they are there and won't test them, so a clean up of the fluid should help avert eyes.

I've got them too and for the reasons Si says.

Mine were leaking badly and it was MOT time.

Been through 2 MOT's since with no problems :)
