Sounds like your O2 sensors are poorly mate! It's always worth cleaning the connector contacts first, but the sensors do die over time. I've just had to replace mine (well Jimmer and Darrell are the ones who are doing the biz!) and I did originally buy some universal Ebay ones - I've read that people have found them fine, and then a few say they're not! Personally, after a little wiring accident of my own on them, the Consult showed them to be lazy, so I ordered a pair, on Jimmers advice, from here -

I will mention that we're currently having trouble getting them delivered - After a lot of messing around last night (I have a US Postal Service tracking number for the delivery) I've found Parcelforce have been holding them to Customs ransom since last Friday, but have not bothered to tell anyone! The idiots would have sent them back if we'd not been going about our own investigations as to where they are! Just a word of warning if you do order from there. The service from the US itself is first class, it's just the monkeys this end that are a problem!

HTH,

Simon

P.s. If your sensor is duff, personally, I'd go for a pair - It's likely the other one isn't too far behind!

thanks matey

No mate - They look like they'd do the trick, though. The ones I bought were universal ones which didn't come with the connector attached. I've got the finally cost for both the sensors (with connectors!) which I bought from the USA now, though, and it's £125 and a few pence! I know Jimmer's used these himself with no problems and I didn't want to mess around as I just needed to get the car running properly as it's overdue it's slot in the bodyshop!!
