Hi just a quicky i have nearly got my drivers side door card off it just seems stuck across the top where the bottom of the window is! any help?

you need to slide it upwards then pull it out the way.

yea i have just found out why i didnt take the top pillar bit off the door and there were a few extra screws! lol.

 

Next problem i bought a seat belt off of a member on here and ive connected the electrics before i install all of it. but the seat belt is not even releaseing!!

You have to drop the window, pop the black cap off on the outside where the glass normally covers. There's a gold screw underneath (try and keep it on the screwdriver rather than dropping it in the door cavity (bluetack works well)

 

When you get that out, remove the top of the seat belt from the door pillar then pop the capping off.

 

There's 2 big screws at the top of the door card to remove and hey presto off it comes!

 

Just make sure you get the two hidden under the carpet in the door handle first.

yea done that all 1st just forgot about the top pillar screws! lol. Wot do i do about the seat belt though!?

If its not sitting at the correct angle it wont release, have you tried screwing it in place and then pulling it out?
