Hi guys. Got my UK clocks through today! Well happy.

Dug out my DTA dial surrounds and offered them up. I like them, but I also like the clean look of stock clocks. Before anyone says, I am not fitting indiglo or white dial faces.

What would you do?

i like the surrounds m8. gives it that quality classic sports car look.

its not overstated and yet still has the bling factor.

I say go with the surrounds Si - its a nice modern touch IMHO. I understand the originals are quite nice and understated but no harm in little subtle improvements :)

I thought about the rings but definately prefer the stock look, however i do think they look great with the silver clock faces, they just look abit OTT with the black.

I prefer the surrounds in those pictures, as has already been said, they give it a bit of something without being overstated. However I'd want to see them in context with the rest of the interior before deciding if they were mine.

This is my interior Phil...have Terrano II door handles, so there are some other contrasting bits to tie into the rings.

Si, i've got the answer for ya.

I ordered a set from DTA but asked him not to polish them. I have a steering wheel very similar to yours with the brushed aluminium look. The unpolished dial rings suit them perfect. I'm not a big fan of shiny shiny in the interior.

Si, go for the rings mate, and add a nice set of white dials as well ;)

Actually they do go together quite nicely and would add to your white interior

I don't have a white interior! There is NO white inside the car WHAT SO EVER! LOL

Got the rings on mine and they look great. Make it look a bit more modern.

Did you get the Terano handles new or from a breaker? How much did you pay?

My standard handles are looking a bit tatty so been thinking of doing this since I saw you fit them ages ago.

Got them from a breaker. Unfortunately, one side is an NLS from Nissan, so going to a breaker is the only option. They aren't too difficult to find. Just need to keep your eye open for them on ebay. (Late spec models). Late spec MK1 Ford Mavericks have them too. Maybe the part can be traced through Ford. They might have some stock, but Nissan certainly don't. Of one side anyway.

Hi mate I had some rings but decided not to fit them as I didnt like them. It looked a bit Seat Cupra sport for me and I quite like the plain but contrasting dash as it is.

Each to their own though

I've bitten the bullet and gone with the rings. Will take some pics later. Just refitting the dash at the moment.
