getting confused now. z failed mot on couple of things , little welding (£40 so can't be much) and some of the lights, new bulbs took care of rear fog lamp but side lights being more of a problem.failed cos of being wrong colour, amber(i have been told this shouldn't fail but it did) so trying to be smart i brought some clear indicator/side lights only to find these are just indicators and i should have my side lights in with fogs.took fogs out but nowhere to put side light bulb. now not shure what to do for the best

1 rewire fogs to act as side lights(hopeless with electrics so only if v v easy)

2 is it possable to take indicator glass off without damage i could then put clear ones on mine

3 keep getting mot done till i find someone who will pass her - at £50 a go this could be dear

hi its a jap import but looking at pics of us/jap/uk models it seems to have usa side lights

So you have running lights where the normal indicator clustor should be?

Take your fog lights out (2 min job), unscrew the plastic back on them and look at the reflector dish. Check to see if there's more than one place to put a bulb. If you have US fog lights in it, there won't be the cutout for the sidelight bulb.

My clear side lights have space for 2 bulbs, so if you got that sort, you could use an orange bulb for the indicator part and a clear bulb for the side light part.

Some people on here move the sidelight from the Fog unit and wire it to this spare space in the indicator and get rid of the fog all together and replace it with ducts.

BTW, my clear corners are OEM clear units. If you bought copies, maybe this is why you only have one bulb space.

How many bulbs/spaces are in your old orange corner units?

Sorry, I have just read your option 2 again, which suggests you do have 2 bulbs in your original corners.

I think you need to order some OEM units.

The ones Zcentre sell look like they are segmented and have 2 bulb spaces, but you could always ring and check.

Yeah, they 'might' be series 2 indicators. Series 1 units had a single bulb holder for the indicators in. They are noticable by the different defuser patterns....like so...

JDM Style two (with running light and different defuser patern....note larger running light section to other JDM style)
