I know this may sound odd, but now and again my zed wants to wander off!! I can be driving along normally and I can feel that it wants to pull one way or the other. Nothing appears loose, tracking etc ok. Most odd. Any ideas please??

Dont drink and drive , as above had tracking done still wonderd changed the tension bushes bingo

When it does it again. Remember where you are and drive over the same road going the same way again. It's probably tracks in the road caused by heavy trucks. :D

AKA tramlines;)

HICAS doing odd things because a non standard steering wheel is fitted and the steering angle sensor is reporting steering rate of turn input when there is none and causing the rear wheel steer to do odd actions in response. Just a long shot possibility!

That sounds interesting but I have the standard wheel. But was going to seek advice about updating that. Not sure what would be good though and have the cruise controls as the original. But if that was to cause problems then best left alone possibly.

Is it an easy job to do the tension bushes. Do I need any special tools etc. Thanks.

I just had the energy suspension ones fitted, they are in 3 pieces so easier to fit, about £60 from DTA, oem ones are around £100 and need to be pressed in, also check the rear track arms and hicas outer bushes, ive had all mine replaced and its very tight and direct now, very little tramlining
