Hi, Im Rich aka trick and live in west sussex, I have a 1991 300zx lwb twin turbo, Im partner in a garage, my 300 is going to be our promo car but we have a problem, 300's are new to us as we only ever work on skylines, Our problem is this, I thought mine had been converted to mph but now my friends bought one and his is still in kph but his clocks are the same as mine, what should the clocks read? can somebody please help me????

Secondly i'm not too sure what you're asking :confused:

welcome mate...another sussex zedder :) basically are you saying your clock dials say mph but feels like kph...correct? to confirm take her up to 100 on the clocks and if it feels like 60mph then yep your right the converter isnt working...someone may have tried to fit a converter then stuck a sticker on the clock face hence yours looks like your buddy's jap clocks in all other respects...i've had a couple of zeds that read in kph its not too much of a drama...the converters arnt too expensive if yours is missing / broken

Hi mate, you have picked the right club. The guys and gals on here a great and will always try to help. My 300zx had the face of the speedo changed and only goes up 120 mph as the restrictor is still on. Is yours the same as that? Not quite shaw what you mean.

Unfortunately I wont be doing any shows or meets in the zed this year as its currently stripped down, having the body kit fitted then being resprayed, meanwhile some major major work is being done to the engine, just to give everyone an idea ive spent nearly 25k on her but its going to be worht every single last penny!!!! I'll try and put some pictures up of the progress
