Ive got a 360 and these are the games I think are good which are available for PS3

 

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (CoD4)

Left 4 Dead

Gears of War 1 & 2

Ton Clancey's: Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2

Fear

The Orange Box (Half Life 2 boxette)

 

There are alot of other but these are my favourite. There is a new Call of Duty our called Call of Duty: World at War (WaW) but i dont think it is as good as CoD4. These games are best played online :)

 

If you like music (guitar, drums and vocals) then Rock Band 2 is great. quite expensive to buy all the equipment but ive played it none stop since i bought it 2 months ago. Great at parties too.

A good idea is to join something like Lovefilm so you can try games out without having to buy them. You can keep the game for a few weeks to see if you like it. Worth doing when the games can cost in excess fo £30-40.

 

Some rental places sell preowned games and there is of course ebay. Although sometimes they do not go so cheap on ebay. Also keep an eye at argos online because they do half price games or 2 for 1 offers throughout the year on different games.

If you know anyone that has guitar hero or rock band, give it a try. seriously good fun and harder than it looks especially the drums.

I've never really been into computer games all that much and have never had a games consol, but there was a window of a few years when I loved stuff that was out on the Commadore Amiga.

I also have both and I like modern warfare as much as world at war but I just cannot put up with the twats spawn killing all the time!! not to mention all the other irritations. It's a shame they never updated it like they did waw. Anyway bring on the modern warfare 2 in around october. ;)

If they did update it then they would shoot themselves in the foot for selling Modern Warfare 2. I just wish they would bring out more map packs for these games.
