Easy, a hair dryer, can of plasticote chrome paint and a bit of patience...

Involves totally taking the headlights apart, plus re did the plastic adjusters and fitting new metal ones via Dan @DTA.

Good cheap easy mod.....

Purple would be worse :slap:

Well i like chrome headlights :D Not keen on the angel eye jobbies tho - maybe if they were a bright white rather than blue!

Think yours would look far more menacing with OEM ones though. Would match your indicators a little more?

Always liked those IC ducts.

Why thank you very much Si :D

I know what you're saying but i love how much more noticible the front is with chrome headlights.

And regarding the ducts - i really do love them! They look fantastic IMO, and especially with the 99 front - they match the openings i think!

I'd have ducts if I had 99-spec front. Infact, I'd have ducts if I had the moustache still.

I find they really update the look - the fog lights just give a bit of a dated look IMO. HOWEVER brand spanking new fog lights still look good, but it really bugs me how they are set back  If i'd kept them i think i'd of gone to the trouble of extending the bolts and making them more flush with the front of the bumper

They just really look 'right' with the 99 front - they seem to match the middle/main opening perfectly :D

Just get some will you.

Narrr, I've got brand new fog lights, so they STAY!

Thats what i mean tho - brand new ones do look really good

Especially with your car, as everything is so fresh and clean!

So true

A big part of it is obviously just the age getting to them and making them 'dingey' - brand new ones like you have fitted give it a more modern cleaner look! The only thing that still bugs me is the fact that they are set back but the indicators are'nt! Have you considered bringing them out flush?

Yeah they yellow slightly, well, the clips do and they snap off. One of my clips had, so, me being me, I bought two new lenses as I wanted them to match.....in the same way that I have LED sidelights which are matched to 6000k HIDs, so they match in colour/contrast as well. Nothing worse than seeing the new Mini coming towards you with its HIDs on and crappy yellowy sidelights. Stuff like that really bugs me!

As for the flush thing, yeah, I have played around with them, but if you look at the indicators (the front parts), you'll see that they are set back to the same amount as the fogs...if you understand my meaning/viewpoint.
