My 1992 UK 300ZX tt has just started to idle at about 1800rpm, it is as though the choke is out, its being doing it intermitantly for a few weeks now but these last couple of days it pretty much constant...

Is it a sticky throttle cable or something else?

What do I need to do to sort it out?

Thanks guys, Dan

You need to look up: 'Z tried to kill me' before you drive your car again some people have had their throttle stick at high speed.

there is a pipe that was catching on my throttle cable. actually was really dangeruous the throttle got stuck on as the pipe had worked loose but up until that point it was sticking.

Same as paul said above.

Hi i dont think its the cable, might be a boost leak.

I have checked the pipe and its not catching on the throttle, i did push the pipe fractionally back on though, could a slight leak cause this revving?

Other than that, what else should I check??
