hey, had new engine put it today but the 3rd cylinder isnt fireing at all and when i start the car it stalls, mechanic rekons it cud be the crank angle sensor ? any idears??

its not fireing at all in the 3rd cylinder and when i start the car it cuts out straight away unless i keep the revs up and on the right side of the plenum theres a 14 ml bolt with a tiny pipe attached to it that snapped off and just changed that with another one and attached the hose and the bolt a little further prob 17ml with a small pipe hes been replaced with a normal bolt and blocking it. so nothing comes out. but will change that over with a original of a mates plenum

If its just one cylinder than really dont think it will be the cas

Start simple, its probably electric so

Plug, coil pack, connector to it, ptu,

Also check the injector and its connector

Make sure you have the plugs leads on the right coil packs, this can cause the engine to run with only one plug not really in sync. Secondly when its running, get a long screwdriver and put one end on an injector, and your ear to the handle end. You should be able to hear the injector clicking as it works. Compare number 3 with one of the others. You may also have a faulty plug so swap 3 over with another and see if the fault moves with the plug. Do the same with the plug coil packs.
