Im after some De-cats for my 1990 NA... has anyone tried these? Are they the right ones for the car? As im yet to look underneath my Z to check :D

Most are Fitment, bit of persuasion and are fine. But you will get that with any off the shelf ones that are not made to fit your exact car.

Fitment issues. Mainly incorrect bend angles so it wont line up wit the Catback section. Somebody else mentioned the other day about having a set with the length completely wrong.

The one's i fitted to mine were very poor fitment. Im going to just get some custom ones made.

 

They are on but touching the gearbox sump, the hangers are no where near they need to be and the end that fit onto the cat-back are angled wrong.

 

The downpipe sections are fine though :rofl:

IF you dont mind them not fitting. One of mine was too short. An easy fix but thats not the point. Also gaskets are poor.

one of the downpipe flanges was welded at slightly the wrong angle and wasn't a spot on fit.

 

After sending him pics of the problem he sent me another set 100% free of charge!

 

You get what you pay for in this world but if your on a budget he is a top bloke.

I got some decats off him to and i had them fitted within 10 mins whitout any problems :confused:

A quick update on my 2fast2cool pipes. I sent him an email and he seems to be very fair. So far he wants me to measure the length and he will sort a new one.

 

Very impressed.
