As my engine undertray is FUBAR'd I was wondering if it needs to be replaced or can I just do with out? My jdm didn't have but my uk does :confused: What are the pro's and con's of the tray?

I've ran without one for a few years but i don't do a lot of milleage and not had any problems other than the power steering leak messing the road up, however I am getting one refitted this week as i'm in a process of sorting out all the small details now the major issues are sorted.

 

Its mainly there to stop crap fouling the engine bay and the front one helps with air intake.

well... i got stones in my engine bay from having no undertray which ate all my belts, the water bump belt snapped which then resulted in over heading.

 

Was a few years back now and was very messy.

 

Anyone thought about making a undertray for their cars?
