Well in 3 week i am moving house:dance:

It was anold boys collage boarding house and i have what i think is the dorm masters house at the end of my garden.

The Mrs wants me to knock it down but im trying to convince her it will be usefull.

Any helpfull suggestions?

Thats what im planning for the celler as my next door neighbour has built a full Gym pool room shower room and utility room down there looks realy cool.

Take it down and come and put it up in my back garden.

I dont know i like the idea of breeding dogs or wild anmals in there myself.:)

yeh it one option i had thought about a sort of holiday let

guest/family bedrooms, dont know if you have children or not, but could be a teenage space, playroom for grandkids, a bar, an office,

thats what its used for now by the present owners a big wendy house.

The house itself has 5 bedrooms so no need for a guest house allthough a B&B come weekly holiday let sort of thing sounds appealing

If it hadf a different access i would but you have to go through the garden to get to it.

Maybe B&B with no dampers,pipe smokers or shouting deaf people.:rolleyes:

B&B will be expensive as a lot of rules and regs will be involved, renting it out will get a bit of cash in and also make the tenant pay the council tax on it, i would try and find someway of making accses to it, even if its a gate in a fence

Yeh thats why i thought holiday let as we are right bythe sea which is popular with old people.

All i would have to do is put a kitchen and bathroom in then it would be self sufficient.With parking for for about 8 cars at the front and a gate at the side of the house for access we would be completly private.

keep it for the kids when they grow up.

whips chains rubber and loads of baby oil on draft ....sell it to a tory MP for rumpety sqazillion quid .......or set up a child minding service ...turn it into an aviary or ..reptile house....but to knock it down would be a waste ..it has potential maybe not yet but in a few years you might well find an ideal use for it ...

Steve thats exactly what i keep telling the Mrs (mot the chains bit)

It has a lot of potential allthough i cant see it yet.

The house is an investment so i will proberly sell it in about 6 years when the market improves and i think the shed as we call it will be a selling point.
