thanks trance but u think? do anyone no for sure. nice car by the way

mine are fitted under the bumper in place of the re-circ valves, but also have a set that fit to the hard pipes. I think if i remember correctly, i read somewhere that the best place for them to be is as close as possible to the throttle bodies...in which case would be on the hard pipes.

I may be wrong, so please anyone correct me if i am :D

Silly question but I have always wondered if dump valves make (apart from the noise) much difference in performance gains i.e 0-60 or bhp?

They are actually worse for the car than the recirculating valves that are already fitted.

Only worth fitting if you want a bit of noise or your existing valves are shot.

Yeah that was me mate :D

That brings back some memories! Not good ones either LOL

On the way home from doing your ECU I was driving on the main Leeds to Harrogate road and went to overtake a guy who was indicating left into a side road but then changed his mind and decided to swing a U turn instead straight into the front of me doing 70 ish!

Hadn't seen me behind him for the last 3 miles...

Destroyed both cars and sent me into a hedge but luckily nobody was hurt.

Worst thing was he lied to the police and they tried to do me for dangerous driving which later got dropped. He told me he was sorry he got lost and tried to turn round but on his police statement said he was visiting friends at the house outside where it happened. I visited the house and luckily they gave me a statement to say they had never heard of the guy.

Took me 3 days off in court to prove it though and the Alfa was a write off!

Anyway, how's it going? LOL
