been reading all this week about how rangers and celtic could form part of a new 2 tier premier league sometime in the future. im a rangers fan and would love to see them play liverpool man u ect every week however i cant see how they would be that fussed about having us down there seem to have a pretty good league without us as it is. i also think this would spell the end for the scottish game, surely less tv money and sponsorship would be made available to them without the big 2, i do however like the idea of a british league as hinted at by john boyle the motherwell chairman, but doubt it would happen but what about maybe a british cup? could have this instead of the 2 league cups?

they run an anglo-welsh cup in rugby, so I guess there is no reason why it can't happen in football. not sure if it would be a good idea for a league. it would make it that much harder for a scottish team to get a champions league spot.

they have been saying it for years and it never happens, 1 reasonis they would have to start in league 1 or 2 to make it fair which rangers and celtic would never agree too, also it means they would prob never play european football again, and what about if another scottish team grew and started playing really fantastic football and got some foreigh investment, would they be allowed to join too? with regard to the cup idea, fantastic in theory but the main problem is security, the stottish fans love to come to major english cities for the football in there thousands with or without tickets, i dont think the police would ever give there blessing for something like this.

Im a celtic fan and i dont think either of the old firm would get relegated, i reckon the would be finishing mid table. Certainly not get relegated.
