April 26, 200124 yr Whats involved with fitting etc? Sounds like a silly question but are there any fiddly bits? Do you know what sort of power increase it will give?
April 27, 200124 yr You'd have to remove the ECU, desolder and remove the chip, solder in the socket and plug in the new chip. If you're not good with a soldering iron I guess any TV repair place would do it for you. Power increase is a function of the size of boost jets you fit. The chip takes care of engine management. I'm not a fan of bleed valves but I have a variety of welding tips for boost up to 17lbs! As any of the boys on here will tell you, you ain't lived until you've experienced the extra power :-) Jim G
