Are they genuine Nissan 99spec Headlights or just the replicas inserts ?

I want 99 spec lights. With the pound being so low at the min for a set of new ones will cost around 2K

 

I think that link is just for one. plus all the chrome has cracked :(

That's crazy money. I can think of much better things to spend that kind of money on.Traction control, inter coolers etc, etc....

According to the guy I'm chatting to assures me they are genuine but yes they look a bit rough.

your better off just getting an aftermarket hid conversion and saving ya cash for when i breaks down :p if you want it to look like the 99 spec ones you can buy the inserts

As far as I'm aware Danny never went ahead with the inserts, but wait and see his reply for confirmation on that

Now as far as I know I bought the original mouldings that these current versions came from, and they were total crap, but looking at the photo's on that link, and knowing that he has a good reputation over there would lead me to believe that they have been improved upon now.

Incidentally I'm currently working on having a set of these inserts moulded into a spare set of headlamps, so if you decide to go this option, then I'll be taking plenty of pics along the way and will post them up as I go.
