was stripping out a 300zx what i bought for spares,

under the bonnet come across a oval shapped thing with hks evc controller wrote on it,

it plugged into loom and had i think 3 vacum hoses on it.

just wanted to know what it did if anyone else had them and if its worth fitting, thank you

worth a few quid they are. newer ones like evc 5 are much dearer

the thing i have is only under the bonnet i have no display unit

follow the cable back from the valve block to the control unit

it looks quite old fashion not like the part in the picture, i have stripped the shell bare to have it sprayed and theirs no display it also plugs into original loom around the area what i think are the aiv solinoids, if you were looking at the battery that position but drivers side.
