I have been in touch with a guy in the States, who sells the clear lenses required to perform the conversion to clear tails.

He is willing to charge $525.00 for 10 pairs (I think this includes postage - which will take 7-10 days). That works out at around £365.00. If I add the currency transfer and the postage for each set in the UK, I reckon each set would cost about £42-46.

 

If I can get 10 names, or maybe more, and then 10 definates (i.e. cheques!). I will contact him and buy.

are you sure this is the right price?????? it seems very cheap......they are about 150 dollars each side elsewhere.....i take it that price you gave is each side......

You have to do the conversion yourself. The price is for a pair of lenses, not light clusters. You take apart the light, remove the orange coloured lens and replace with the clear one, you then replace the bulb with an orange tinted one.

 

The price is for a pair, so £46 and a couple of hours work. Most of the people advertising for $150 dollars will do an exchange - do you want to send your light units away to the US?

I think you'll find it more hassle than it's worth!

 

I have a spare set of cleared rear lenses for sale.

 

They may need a little bit of work but it your prepared to do it anyway....
