Does anyone have a pic of a drivers side Greddy TD05 18G fitted?

With or without modification.

Thanks

Steve

Will dig it out tomorrow bud, basically you just have to round the flashing off to allow the intake pipework to pass, i have a picture on a disc somewhere so will post it up tomorrow

Thanks Mike

After speaking to Andy yesterday he said that if he grinds that much off the support will become to weak.

So i was thinking of fabricating a bracket out of steel and doing away with the support webs.

you dont have to take much from it, just enough to get the intake pipe past, we put a 90 degree silicon coupler on mine

Mike

heres the pics as promised

you can see you only have to round it off slightly to make a reducer go onto the front of the turbo, we ran this for a while before we decided as we were going for silly power so we increased the pipework size to 3 inches all the way, again it does fit past the engine mount with no extra grinding but we had to take a 90 degree silicon coupler straight up then another 90 degree coupler to then take the pipework forward, unfortunately we didnt get any pictures of this :(

But should give you some ideas

Curious as to what manifolds they are kirbz?

they are the greddy sus ones bud

they are the greddy sus ones bud

nice:D looks like they free a little more space compared to others.

so did you make up 3inch pipe work throughout the whole system?

Mike im curios why did you go for these as i thought they where prone to cracking.

they were already on the car when i bought it, any sus manifolds are prone to cracking due to the weight of the turbos but i got a friend to go over all the welds to double weld them to make sure they didnt crack. When i went onto the next stage of tune with the 20g turbos i got the pentroof manifolds :)

Ahh i see that explains it.

I thought you had Pentroof;)

yes bud, we took 76mm pipework from the turbos to the air filters where the side mounts used to be and we then took 63mm pipework from the hot side of the turbo to the intercooler which was a tad harder to fit in due to the lack of space at the side of the plenum LOL
