New Phillips TV - 56inch 21:9 ratio!

I SO want one of these, 21:9 ratio so exactly the same ratio as the cinema screen so no more black blocks at the top and bottom of the screen :hyper:

Plus it's got ambi light so it shines coloured lights onto the walls that match the picture to give a better viewing experience.

And the price for such telly watching pleasure? £3500  not bad i guess for something that size and quality

i was in Costco yesterday and they have a Panasonic 68" for £3000, picture quality was great too.

you really need an isf calabration done on them to get the best out of them

As far as aspect ratio's are concerned, you'll never achieve the perfect aspect TV without having black bars at some point, it's just not possible with all of the different formats out there........, ie; take a look at the picture
