Rather than poach another thread can anyone tell me where to get a rear roll cage for my 91 J spec? I'll be removing rear seats so access not a problem and possibly be fitting racing harness to it.

Cheers

There are a couple of options.

If you order anything let me know as i am interested how you get on with it as on my to do list.

I like that next miracle crosss bar for the swb from greenline but £1200 withoout shipping is expensive unless ive got my currecey converter wrong.:o

Thanks for all the input guys.

Will the 6 point from Alunox be rear only? I'm not too keen on having it at the front. last time I had a roll cage in my Capri I used to bang my head on it every time I went over a bump  I had to tie foam to it and looked a bit naff :)

6 point will be front too. You want a 4 point if you want rear only.

Hi John, do you have any more info on this one? I'm going to start on interior soon so need to make a decision about roll cage and may well go the full route.

I really liked the look of the full Next Miracle Cross bar and it would do the job nicely but reckon by the time you add shipping it would be crazy money.

I asked Slick Pete but not doing any more unfortunately. That looks just about right though :)

This is my slick pete cage, slightly modded to fit my car :)

Ahh!! That did look the part Ed. Especially in the Fluoro colour.

The fit wasnt bad either considering they werent made to go in a Supra! LOL

It is a really snug fit in my slicktop. No room for trim!

The others I made had a bit more clearance to allow for trim to remain.

If you just want the rear section of the cage, can do that too. Can just geta rear section done without the brackets for the front tubes and door bars.

Hi John, yes ideally I would like rear only with a harness bar something like this. Also am removing seats but leaving frame so that I fit amps there (probably). Do you have any pix of one? I definitely want one and sooner the better as taking a week off soon to fit the ICE.

Cheers

Been looking at harnesses recently and i believe that is a harness bar.

How it will peform as a roll cage i have no idea, i doubt it will add the same structual integraty

The cage has a rear cross bar and harness bar as part of it so no problem connecting harnesses.

Spoke to Leon today and these will be readin in a few weeks, he just has a backlog of work on a Noble M400 to get through first.

Any pics of prices?

Will have some soon, going offshore to work for a few days so will sort something when I get back.

If you search on here for roll cage threads by me you should find some stuff.

I've had a look and it does look like just what I want. I'm up for either a 4 or possibly 6 point MSA approved T45 with harness bar. Prices look about right too. Perhaps when you get back I can call you and firm up some details. Like I said, I'll be taking a couple of weeks off very shortly to install ICE so would like this at the same time and get it done too :)

It still does look the part mate, I took that pic the other day :) Supra is now back on my driveway :)

Contact custom cages.

Thay have not done a 300zx before but say that it would be no problem. I want a 4 point rear bar in a few months and will drop the Zed off for a week. They can build any cage in there range and prices are not bad too.
