was running v-power when detting and have now put some 99 octane tesco's fuel and will see how that goes today on the way to the meet.

Is it your daily driver?? If its been left for a while the vpower could of lost its octane?

Another thing i can think of when the boost is upped you need to adjust the spaceing on the spark plugs

Could be, aswel as mentioned:

- fuel pump struggling

- fuel pressure regulator

- badly mapped ECU/ECU mapped for higher octane?

- EGR valve stuck open

FPR thats what it's called!

have your Timing and fuel pressure checked

Timing should be 15 at idle

Fuel pressure should be about 43psi at idle, or around 37psi with vacumn feed disconnected from FPR.
