I was starting to wonder if I was becoming a snob as the area I live in is starting to annoy me. There are alot of people who have 9 kids and live in council houses (no offence) and chavs who I feel I don't want to live near anymore.

Anyway this week the wife spoke to the ten year old from next door but one, this has confirmed I live in the wrong area and need to go. Coversation was....

he asked 'where have you been?'

she replied 'I've been to work'

with a look of dismay and a puzzled expression he said 'What, do grown ups work then'

If that's the next generation's mentality then this country is finished and I'm definitely moving!!!

Its the law not clamping down on the people i think.

All about the upbringing. I can safely say my 11yo brother is nothing like that and its all down to the way my dad has and is bringing him up!

Totally agree its all about respect for people and the community they live in, the top half of our street is clean and tidy, yet the bottom half is like a tip because they have no respect and simply dump stuff everywhere, and stand around all day in trackies smoking fags and dropping babies, I'm sorry but you can't afford one child why have you got 4, oh yeah i'm paying for it. :mac1:

Yep - all comes back to the parents. There needs to be radical changes to the benefit system in this country to get these chav scum off the streets and into jobs. They will work if they have to (either that or they'll break the law, get banged up and be off the streets anyway). Problem is stopping the pi$$ takers without penalising the honest people with real problems :(

its still a very good country to live for some and not for others..my big concern is that they have made it an offence to defend and protect your family and your property:mad:..well not on my fvkin watch!!!! in the past ive never used the police for any re-course of action and allways had it sorted, that way things got done and i never put a strain on the countrys resorces;) but for the more vunerable members of our society like old people and genuine un-employed skilled labour its looking a little bleak right now with one thing and another which i wont go into on a public forum at this present time:rolleyes:

woah woah woah!!! Do you people really have jobs???? I thought money fell out of the sky and into your lap :p :p :p

Only Kidding! Its a Disgrace!! I was taught to pay your own way for everything! Couldnt afford it cant have it simple! Benefits is such horses**t (no offence) if it is removed nobody can exploit it! Yes i know some people need it but by now im Sure more people exploit it than actually need it!

Yeah, but that's capitalism for you, if you can get something for nothing, take it.

From people who won't work, get benefits, take it, from bankers that get huge bonuses, take it, politicians that get allowances , take it. It's a system that works on greed, theft and self interest.

Oh,as well as,greed, theft, I missed exploitation.

Glad it's not just me:)

I was brought up to respect other peoples property and work hard to earn money and not just sit on my a*se. From what I see in my area it has filled up with 4 kid families who don't work and think the world owes them a living which we have to pay for  And the comments are right, until this system is sorted we will just spirral downwards! I'm a firm beliver if you claim benefits you should do 2 days works on community projects or maintenance. The honest people wouldn't mind, only the scroungers would complain.

Yesterday 3 kids came into the garden and started filling their pockets with the shingle, we have just spent weeks finishing the front of the house, I was away but the wife went nuts and told them to empty their pockets out and don't come back. You may think I'd worry about her doing that but any trouble and she stands aside the doorway to let let the three dogs out, always works a treat with the chav b**tards :D

Anyway rant over  Off to look at some houses on new developments and in the country to escape.

Locked in the garage :) Anyway as it's being rebuilt I'd be amazed if it was driven away in. More worried about the wife's Audi TT, hence the work on the front of the house to include lockable gates for the driveway.

This might sound stupid but do you worry about your Z or is it not parked in the street?

Mines parked in the street but strangley enough some of the chavy looking lads down the street think its pretty cool and always come up asking questions about it when ive got my head under the bonnet.

Touch wood its been fine so far.
