Yeah I did. I had him from the start but then I couldn't get it in to second gear and had to go in to third. You can tell by the times (16's) I was miles adrift.

 

I only managed two other runs because it was so busy. Raced a Cerbera and beat him 13.80 Seconds.

 

Lined up against a mid 70's Trans Am with a big hood scoop (not the standard shaker but a big f**k off one. As I've owned one myself and raced against quite a few I just thought another yank tank, all noise no action. The lights went and he was off so quick I almost gave up there and then. He posted an 11 seconds to my measly 14. I'll be avoiding him in future.

 

Reckon I'll have to go back down the Pod to see if I can better my 13.5.

 

If your buddy goes back over North Weald or the Pod I'd love to have another go. What mods does he have?

Grant How did my filming come out?

He has quite a few mods. Hybrid Turbos, cams, Big intercooler, I think he has about 450 bhp.

Hopefully when I get my mods done , I should give u and my mate a decent race. lol

Yeah, pretty good John, thanks for doing that. Sometimes things work out well. I beat a Cerbera and you catch it on video for me!!

 

Couldn't you have reached up and filmed over the top of the fence and not through it??? Just Kidding.

 

How can I get that film in to the PC? Then I'll post it on the forum.
