Just went for a dyno test as i was bored on my day off :D

I know it wasnt going to be great seen as the car is running rich even more so on the nearside bank which was 9.8afr or so :(, and not to forget its a hot day today ;) But overall im happy i have a figure to compare for when i fit the BIG BLOWERS and have it mapped yeehaaaaaaa Im thinking gt535r's or the gt600r's ???? does anyone know the difference between the 2? I know they are ball bearing 5 bolt turbos and thats about it.

Was at a place called Red Dot racing in enfield. Handy as its only 15mins drive for me.

They own a serious mr2 turbo track car and a skyline was on the rr before me.

Pretty good going Jimbo :D

What were you hoping for?

What makes the torque go up, cos mine is alot less HP than you but alot more torque. I'm getting 385ftlb.

that seems like a pretty big gap between the flywheel/wheels bhp readings.

And to be honest, running 15.5psi i would have thought it would have been higher

I duno mate, think the compression ratio!!?

ive got a thicker head gasket so lowers the compression so i can run more boost. Hopefully someone will be along to help.

I want a good overview of how its running. The man said it was running very rich on the nearside bank, But running well.

I tried my best to set the ebc before i arrived to keep it steady and to keep the boost stable throughout the revs with no spike.

Im happy its a strong build so far and that the power peaks higher up the revs with a nice even curve all the way up which is what i wanted.

Im sure it would benefit from a good days mapping BUT i think il wait till i have fitted the bigger turbos, would be a waste of money.

Its just a rough calculation mate, Never going to be spot on :( I might come to the surrey rolling road day and see what reading they get.

Yeah i found it very helpful for finding where it was running incorrectly and what needed to be done to get it better.

I booked it into Zedworld the following week and had a few minor adjustments made that helped an awful lot.

I found it very informative and helpful and will deffo have it done again in the near future :D

Nice one Jimmy :)

Still its about 100bhp over standard so its really really strong on standard tubs mate.

I think your car wont see its potential untill the new tubs are fitted, if you can keep it reliable then, then you will have a very good build

Thats exactly what im planning Im still building up to that, I need:

dual intake

uprated manifolds

possible ported head!!!

bigger rad

Gt535r's/gt600r's with downpipes

then a full remap should see me 400rwhp at least i hope

jimmy you missed out i just sold a dual intake adapter for £20

I know i saw that but im after a dual intake with dummy maf.

A dule intake adaptor is no good as the air has to pass through the same diameter pipework as a single intake. I think jimmy is refuring to the dules system which doubles the cross section and gives twice the air intake. This system will need 555s and a total remap for the greater air avalible.
