Can anyone tell me if its a simple swap to replace the airbag steering wheel (which I dont really like) with the Series 1 wheel ?

Thanks

I'd kill to have the airbag wheel. Looks so much nicer than the dated non-airbag wheel. It is do-able though. Few people over on 3ZC have done it.

Just be wary of the insurance implications!

Was aimed at the thread starter - by swapping an oem airbag wheel for a non-airbag wheel you're removing a safety feature... which would be great ammunition for the other party's insurance co if, for example, you were trying to claim off them for injury's you suffered when their client pulled out in front of you (which they'd argue you wouldn't have had if the airbag was in place)

Obviuosly, the other way round shouldn;t cause any problems.
