I have bought a second hand petrol lawn mower, it is a four stroke, didn't get a manual for it. can anyone tell me if i need to add oil to the fuel ? also got a 2 stroke petrol strimmer do I need to add oil to the fuel for this? I have always used electric before so all a bit new to me , if I need to add oil what do I need to buy and how much needs adding. Any help or advice would be most welcome, cheers.

the strimmer will need a 40/1 ...any 2 stroke oil will do

 

ps..thats 40 parts of petrol to 1 part of oil

remember to give it a good shake before you use it if it's been sitting a while (the 2 stroke mix in the can)
