Hi everyone,

 

As the title says really, cleaned the car after getting her back from the bodyshop. Came up ok I think but it does show off the 3-4 shades of red on her :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal

 

Anyway now the summer is here there's no excuses for not getting her to how I want. More jobs to do this week so will add more pics as and when.

nice car mate. she cleans up well for an old girl :)

Couple of trips to the Nurburgring and oad trips to a few european F1 races.

 

Mod's wise got a brake caliper overhaul and grooved disc upgrade to do and got a few engine bay dress up bits to go on inc strut brace and fuel lines. Carbon slam panels to go on and want to get a few stainless bits.

 

Dependant on money 18" wheels and suspension upgrades. Think that will do for now but anything could happen really.

Gotta admit I like the idea of keeping her "factory spec" looking however some of the cars on here make we think otherwise sometimes LOL. Subtle is the key for me though and anything I do will be. No Fast and Furious style for me LOL

To me the standard look is best, with very minor mods such as clear indicators and a new set of wheels just to finish the job off.

Posting is pretty cushty, can be busy but generally flying around in a helicopter is pretty cool LOL At the moment mate its just the thermostat and then the brake upgrade after I get back off leave. Any help is greatly recieved :bow::bow::bow:

Yours look the same as Robs to me, so correct me if i'm wrong (cos i dont have a clue lol) your fronts are correct and your rears need swapping round.

Correct. Its to aid with brake cooling. More important for the front than the rear though. Not really important.

 

Rob, phil - if you do decide to swap them around, then check if your tyres are directional as well, if they are wrong then you should really swap them over. If they are right then you would need to swap the tyres round before swapping the wheels round. (not entirely sure that sentence made sense)

ah ha, probably explains why those leading edges on the rear wheels pick up so much dirt. Thanks zx-eyes/Legrath!

Like Dave said tho, if you decide to swap round, you'll have to swap the tyres round too, if they are directional ;)
