Been looking at some us forums and it seems there adement that tt slicktops were never made by nissan .Are tt slicktops not allowed to be imported to the states then.

LOL i know alot of em think there is no such thing as a 2+2 TT.

 

I think they just know about the US versions and don't have a great deal of knowledge on JDM models.

 

To be fair if we did'nt get Jap imports most people would'nt know what was what. INFACT there are loads of people who don't know the ins and outs of all the models.

Unlike here the U.S market tends not to have Japan imports really,they are all U.S models.

Yeah, over here in the states, our available models were limited. The options here were:

 

300ZX N/A 2 Seater T-Top

300ZX N/A 2 Seater Slick Top

300ZX N/A 2 Seater Convertible

300ZX N/A 2+2 T-Top

300ZX Twin-Turbo 2 Seater T-Top

 

Twin-Turbo conversions are quite common over here though.

A friend of mine here in Utah just finished a TT conversion on his 2 Seater Slick Top

You guys got the Stramann TT cabrio though which we never got.

LOL UK versions were even more limited - you could have a LWB TT and thats it :rofl:

Yeh, but was'nt actually an available model, just a company offering a service. You took your SWB TT to them and paid them $9000 and they did the conversion into a Vert.

 

Not as nice as a Nissan factory convertible. I'd much rather convert a Factory model into a TT instead.

The amount of Americans I've had contact me because of my youtube vids is amazing! They've all said well done for the 2+2 TT conversion and then when I tell them it's a factory job here in UK and Japan they're speechless :D
