Hello, I am very angry because today I have received Stillen Smic of Z1Motorsport...

 

And it has 14 rows, no 18 rows (original Stillen..), poor quality...

It is normal?

Did Z1 advertise it as genuine Stillen with 18 rows? Or their version of a Stillen design? If it's supposed to be a genuine version, then I'd suggest you contact Z1 and argue the toss direct with them, as that's the only way you'll get it sorted.

in the website, the pic is of a original Stillen SMIC, furthermore, apears STILLEn in the core....tomorrow i will send an email to STIllen factory to advice this..

Personally I'd contact Z1 first, as they are who supplied yourself, and inform them that you are not happy with the supplied product. And then work from there, if Z1 state that it's a genuine article, then contact Stillen and see what they say. That's the way I'd do it.

I have a little Owned for me...

 

Now, stillen buy the core to RADIATOR SPECIALITIES, and for this reason the quality is different

 

Old Stillen has 17 rows, and new (mine), has 13...I don´t know whiich will be better...

 

Z1 is legal, and no problem with the transaction..

 

Sorry but in the first time, I thouthg that I was cheated

hope you got it sorted , the welding does not look that good on the z1 item ,

 

i have had stuff from Z1 in the past and they have been first class so i am surprised

so long as the surface area is the same and contact area for intercooling is the same or better then having only 14 rows should not pose a problem
