My limited knowledge and only what I've read would say a 6 puck which is a much different style of plate with 6 contact pads instead of a full plate usualy of a much higher grade to give more bite to the clutch for high powered cars more for track use and not much good for everyday use in traffic.

Had a 6 puck and it was a twat to drive.Dont go for one of these.Go for an RPS Max like me with RPS Segmented flywheel.Hold the power and nice to drive all round.

ive had a 6 puck (or pad) and a 3 puck clutch. both were easy to drive and felt like the stock clutch even in traffic.

;)

that looks ok to me with plent of meat on it, i would have said without looking up the figures it will hold around the 400bhp mark which is typical of 6 puck clutches

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

puk clutches are very difficult to drive especially in traffic. they are a kinda off and on design clutch which dont allow much slip.

in other words keep distance in front of you when in traffic as they are jumpy.

The 6 puck clutch in the silver zed that always ruined the driving experience for me, great on the drag track with the right tyres but awful day to day. They wine when you try and feather them and they jerk, they're heavy and imho totally useless in a daily driver.

You have been warned! :D

if you've already got it, just whack it in and see if you like it/ whether it'll take the torque... not too big a job to swap clutch!

im going to have to disagree with all that. ive had puck clutches for a couple of years and now a twin plate. i use it every day, too and from shops work etc. theres no difference that ive noticed in traffic with a puck clutch. even with my twin plate its still fine in traffic although she does tend to launch but you get used to it
