Fuel Filter

Hi,

 

How often should the fuel filter be changed. I have done about 16k since it was last done.

    According to the owners manual change at every major service, thats 18000 miles. But I don't think it's critical like your oil filter.

    why is it that no matter how much i tighten the pipe on the filter it still leaks and i'm not the only one every one ive been under when they're first started leaks for a short period
