Main beam connectors?

Hi all, I'm probably being a bit thick, but when i went to change my main beam bulbs i couldn't get the connector off. Should you just be able to pull it straight off and then be able to remove the bulb or is it a bit more involved than that? I didn't want to just wrench it off and find that i've damaged things.:rolleyes:

 

Has anyone got the link to the correct page in the online manual?

    They can be a little tricky, they need slightly squeezing to release, however the connectors can corrode a little and just plain get stuck, Sometimes the only answer is to release the bulb holder from the headlight and pull the bulb, holder and connector out as one, then with extra access you can release it.

    Thanks Jeff. Do you have to peel the dust protector back to get to the retaining clip as on the dipped beam? Cheers, Mark
