I had a friend of mine remove the silencers from my tt Z, and it was far too loud and seemed to loose a bit of performance so I got him to install them again, however, when just one was on, on one side it seemed ok.

Is it ok to run my Z with one silencer on one side and no silencers on the other? Or will it damage something, like the turbos etc?

thanks, Dan

i have herd that without the back pressure the turbos wont last long but im sure someone else will be able to help you out more :)

It's bound to cause imbalance at high throttle openings. The balance pipe would be busy passing boost to the other bank.

Its not a good idea even if it works enough to be driveable.
