As the weather was decent today i decided to take my car into work which is in central london........ Enjoyed the weather as i had the Tbars off and then parked just off oxford street.....

Came back to the car and found this attached to the windscreen......i have to admit it put a smile to my face but is a TVR really an upgrade to a Zed?

Gotta admit it did tempt me for a sec but i dont think i could ever part with my car, we've been through to much

Its a bigger engine and has alot more BHP, but aint they all V8's and V12's? And there styling is just so wrong!

Id give him a buzz and let him down gently :) Always nice to know you will always have one hardcore fan of your zed :)

Nice complimet bud... but as you say 000's spent, and a labour of love....... thanks....but no thanks.....;)

TVR owner who clearly thinks the Zed is lower down the food chain! Nice compliment though!

I would never sell the Zed as i dont think iv trully enjoyed it as much as its always having work done but iv promised that this summer will be different and it will be taken everywhere........though i have to admit iv been looking at TVR Tuscan pictures and they are nice but i dont think they are an upgrade......maybe as in the fact that theyre newer but no way an upgrade............

Also LOL to the T-bars..........

Fas

I think it would largely depend on what he thinks your car is worth aswell lol.

An ego booster none the less :D

I'd take the tuscan and run with it. A black/blue one near me left me for dead a few weeks back and a guy in work has an 06 plate one they are animals. I'd swap in a heatbeat and I know I will get flamed for it but IMHO they look better too. I love my car but a tuscan or a cerby unless is was mac1's car no contest

id bit his hand off for that car, they are immence cars, and considering what they are worth at least 15k for a good one?

as much as i would prob never sell my zed i would have thought it was a joke as i would never swap a tuscan for a zed

Had a chimaera once. How can i put this politely.......... KEEP THE ZED!!!!!!!!

Are they really that rubbish? I nearly bought one instead of my old R33 Skyline but didn't after hearing some stories lol.

id have swapped too...!

He does'nt say at all that he wants to 'swap' his TVR for faisels zed lol :smw: ;)

Steer clear, you'd have to pay me to have a Speed Six engine!

The Tuscan is a beautiful looking car and can go like the clappers, but for how long is the question.

Rebuilds are hugely expensive too!

If you want an 'upgrade' from a Zed it has to be a Cerbera, imho.

I speak as a TVR owner, I've had a Chimaera 500 and currently have a Cerbera that's prepped for hillclimbing, sprints and track fun. 1100kg and 400 bhp. :D

i was being pedantic- the t-bars are fixed; it's the glass panels which are removed.

your mind obviously works in a worryingly similar way to mine! (I just didn't bother posting it)

as a swap for a stock Z, then yeah! but for a modded one like Faisals or mine, or many others on here. thanks but no thanks! ive been in a Tuscan doing over 100 at Bruntingthorpe and i really thought it would fall apart. terrible build quality.
