Suspension/MOT

My suspension is good and firm, but the rubber covers on the shockabsorber are all to bits. Can this be a problem come MOT in April. Can they be replaced and where would I get them.

    Not an MOT failure bud. But best to renew them they are there to help prevent dirt etc damaging the damper rod and seal.

    Thanks for the info on MOT and kenolang for link for parts. Once I have them, shall probably be back to find out how to fit them.
