I don't get over here much any more, seems there's always too much to do.

 

Hello to anyone that's still on here from the old Craig days. :D

 

Anyway, I still have my J' Spec '90 TT.

 

I've had it since 2000, it's had one 'blow over' by Leonado a few years ago, but it's all looking very sad now, and I'd like to bring it all back up to scratch for the summer.

 

It's an 'original' car, and there are a few things I need to replace, this leads me to the reason I'm posting, I need help and advise as to where to source stuff. Is Courtesy still the best place?

 

Anyway here's a provisional list of what I need:

 

• OE rear spoiler
  
• Door seals
  
• plastic external trim, the bits along the roof line and side of windscreen.
  
• Trim around window glass
  
• OE rear lights, all 3 sections
  

I'm sure there's going to be loads more, but that'll do as a start.

 

If anyone has any of the above in 'as new' condition please do feel free to shoot me an email with price: tim @ red-zed.com (remove spaces).

 

As an aside I have a manual g'box sitting in my garage, along with various other Zed 'spares' is it worth anything? I was going to do a conversion, but I'm getting old and lazy and decided I like my slush box, I have my Cerbera if I want to be a hooligan. :D make me an offer if you want the g'box.

i sense an Admin Slap coming :p Registered Users cant Sell stuff so i would remove your Gearbox info quick :)

 

Try the Traders on here or do http://www.zcentre.co.uk and http://www.smithys-place.co.uk for stuff! and as stated above Zedworld.co.uk are also great for parts!!

As for the 'Admin Slap' it's just policy not to allow Reggies to sell stuff, nothing personal I'm sure ;)

 

Courtesy are still a good place to obtain OEM stuff, but with the pound to dollar rate so crap these days I'd recommend..... Mike at MJP (Traders section), Luke at ZedCentre, Jeff at ZedWorld (Traders section), Danny at DTA (Traders Section) and not forgetting Smithys Place all of which are good people.

They are in good condition, came off my '95 spec TT Import when I first put an illuminated panel in the middle and then updated to 99 spec rear lights

Paint your trim with Plastidip to make it look like new, then with the money you've saved buy some new 99 spec OEM rear lights from Zcentre.

Well went to my storage place last night and only the centre section was there, Both side units are in boxes at Zedworld. Boxed in the boxes my 1999 spec ones came in

 

What I thought was I could pop down for a nice drive and bring them down on Sunday.... I'm up at Zedworld on Saturday so I'll pick them up then.

No I didn't bother because I didn't get a reply.... I was down your way on Sunday as well as I said I would be. They're still up at zedworld, you could phone then and they will tell you the condition they are in
