March 17, 200916 yr Had my new clutch fitted today, whats the best way to use a new clutch? Is there a technique to bedding them in?? Thanks guys
March 17, 200916 yr Not that I know of, it´s just "back to buisness" again. I´ll gladly stand corrected though if that´s not the case.
March 17, 200916 yr Like Mikey bean says; I would think it would be a good idea to bed the clutch in for a while. Best to take it easy for a couple of hundred miles i.e Don't try doing burnouts! lol
March 17, 200916 yr Should be ok to use as normal, just dont go doing any high rpm clutch kicks for a few miles:wack:
March 17, 200916 yr I thought it depends on the clutch type and manifacturer. What clutch is it, because i believe clutched like the exeedy carbon there is a long and wierd bed in process. Something like do 200 miles with no more than 2500rpm launches, then do 5 4500rpm launches, then another 200 miles etc. Dont qoute me on that but like i said, depends on the clutch type and make. danny
